NOTICEFORMOSAN TERMITES IN MULCHIn recent weeks there has been a tremendous amount of press regarding the possible introduction of the Formosan Termite from Louisiana into Canada in mulch products. Speculation is that all the wood and waste that has been ground up after Hurricane Katrina is being moved as cheap mulch, and that some of that product has crossed the border and is now in Canada infested with termites. Please note that raw material sources for All Treat Farms bark mulch and colored wood mulches are derived solely from Eastern and Northern Ontario Forestry sources. All Treat Farms does not use any recycled wood such as skids, plywood, construction waste, etc. Be assured that all material in All Treat brand mulches and coloured wood products are made with virgin forestry material and does not contain any material from the United States.
